To strengthen the company´s structure in combination with growing our customer base and growing sales with existing customers worldwide within the company´s Road Section.

Identify and secure new key accounts/projects, including developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve financial targets in.

This position requires a high level of customer support with product expertise and advance selling skills.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with Greenwood Engineering´s business plan
  • Responsible for providing an annual Sales Plan and providing monthly updates, revisions and modifications to the Plan
  • Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the  functional departments of the company
  • In coordination with the General Manager, establishes both market and target customer strategies for the company
  • Responsible for the successful management of the needs of the company´s customers in order to meet the objectives of the overall business plans and strategies
  • Spend a significant portion of time in the fields with customers around the world
  • Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and supporting customer strategies
  • Participation on cross-functional projects to improve Greenwood Engineering´s overall efficiency as a company.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Develop and manage relationships with relevant personnel at all levels

Key Challenges and Decisions:

To have a strong technical knowledge - preferably within the Road Industry.

To be dynamic and a 'finisher' with an eye for detail and the ability to drive through solutions. Having a strong commercial orientation with broad business understanding and skills, equipped with a sharp intellect in order to focus on key issues with an attention to details and accuracy of information.

To be a strong relationship builder both with new and existing customers.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor degree with a relevant commercial / technical background or equivalent
  • A record of 5-10 year experience from a technical Sales / long term project sales / manufacturing  

     company - experience within the Road Industry is a big bonus

  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against       competitors
  • Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentations skills
  • Demonstrated capabilities in key account development and project management
  • Experienced with relevant aspects of budgeting and reporting in sales
  • Strong and outgoing personality, pro-active, innovative, target oriented, self-motivated and       ambitious
  • Strong management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with company                      peers, managers and customers
  • Good problem solving skills
  • The ability to make effective decisions under pressure
  • Fluent in communicating and understanding English. Other language skills are a bonus
  • Excellent IT-knowledge on user´s level
  • Ability to travel 30-40% a year worldwide

Organisational Context:

Reports directly to the General Manager.

Strong collaboration with company peers.

Support and contribute to the development of Greenwood Engineering as a whole, taking part in companywide events, task forces or other initiatives worldwide.
